COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Tom adopts a holistic approach to coaching soccer. Individual and team development requires consistent and coherent methodologies which encompass the four-pillars of the modern-day soccer player. Tom focuses time and energy on developing the technically gifted, tactically intelligent, psycho-socially resilient and physically capable athletes. This is best achieved through carefully designed training sessions, bespoke to the individual and team needs.

A belief of Tom’s is that players should be guided to learn through self-discovery and in doing so, develop key skills such as problem solving, decision making, stress management and social skills. All of which not only help the athlete become a more complete player but emotionally intelligent individuals.
