Below, is a periodized macrocycle calendar than focuses on the collegiate soccer season. As you can see, it is broken down into seasons, phases and training variables. After in depth research, I have comprised a 52-week Strength and Conditioning program for every position on the field. The needs of a modern day forward are different than the needs of a modern day GK. After studying the physical demands of each position, I focused on developing the principles (listed above) followed by managing the work load depending on the demands of the time of the year.
